Calvary Fellowship is the “umbrella name” that our ministries stand under.
Our current ministry work is The Basic Word radio program along with sharing Christ with many in our circle of influence (neighbors, at work, etc.). We also hope to start a much needed Prayer Meeting at our home in 2017.
Pastor Mike Sadzinski returned to his home state of Massachusetts to start a church, after living in Virginia for 19 years (see Pastor Mike Bio).
May 2017 marks our 4th year here in New England. We are still convinced by God’s Good Spirit, of Mike’s calling as a pastor, though there is no church building yet. Our “congregations” are the radio audience and our simple fellowship gatherings at times in our home.
Pastor Mike has learned (is learning!!) to not have his own vision and expectations, but to simply listen to the voice of God’s Spirit as He provides direction and our daily bread.
Pastor Mike also senses that the Lord Jesus desires a greater work in New England by the power of His Holy Spirit, if we simply “walk by faith and not by sight”, and walk in utter humility to God’s corrections and directions.
Calvary Fellowship is here to:
- Encourage people to have an encounter with God
- Simply teach God’s Word
- Being sensitive to God’s Holy Spirit and following His lead
- Love the people of New England
- Share Jesus’ love with those who don’t know Him
- Equip Christians for the work of ministry
We are a non-denominational ministry (church-plant, or church start-up) affiliated with the Calvary Chapel movement founded by Pastor Chuck Smith. As such, we stress the vital importance of teaching through the entire Word of God, book by book and chapter by chapter, following the model of Ezra the scribe in Nehemiah 8:8, “So they read distinctly from the book, in the Law of God; and they gave the sense, and helped them to understand the reading.”
We have a contemporary worship style which includes, “psalms and hymns and spiritual songs” (Colossians 3:16).
We would love to meet you!
